Exchange Students

We had 4 Chinese exchange come and stay with us for 2 weeks.  We had so much fun.  We took them to Hollywood shopping, then to the Chinese theatre.  They loved the hand prints of Michael Jackson.

It was a celebration for the largest lollipop day so we all got free See's candy suckers.  Emma had fun finally spending her gift card that her Auntie Mary sent her for her birthday.

We took the boys shopping for shoes and found this huge shoe that of course the boys had to try.

My kids were not so impressed with all the traffic and tourists.  They were also sick of getting their pictures taken.

Sunday night we roasted hot dogs and made smores for dessert.  The boys loved the hot dogs.  We went through 24 hot dogs and our family only had 10.  Their favorite way to roast them was to cover them in honey and then cook them over the fire.  Sounds disgusting but Cory said it was good because the honey just kept the hot dog from burning and gave it a golden color.

Then we had to say good by to Frank, Ivan, Terry and Harry.  Ivan and Harry, I loved how kind and friendly those two were.  Frank was the most respectful and would get up when we tried to wake them up then he would help to get the other boys up.  Frank got really comfortable really quick.  He was a good kid but somewhat immature.  Overall, we had a great experience and can't wait to do it again.
