Draper Temple

On Wednesday, we took the kids to see the Draper Temple Open House. We must have gone a the best time. There were no lines. Which I hear was kind of unusual. The kids love the bus ride over and very quickly we were walking inside. It was beautiful. It was decorated differently than I had expected but beautiful just the same. At the end, there was a reception where there were refreshements. Then the short ride back to the car. When we asked the kids their favorite part of the temple. It was a easy answer for them, the cookies. So glad Cory and I are trying to show and teach them about temples.

There was no place to take a picture, therefore I have no pictures. Oh Well mabye we need to go back.

that is so amazing! both my mom's parents were born AND raised in draper (high school sweethearts, aw...), never would they have thought their (then) little town of draper would have its own TEMPLE! my grandma will be 90 in april and my grandpa died when my mom was pregnant with me... but i know my grandma will have a special place in her heart for that magnificent building :)
