Surprise!!

So several days ago, we were getting in the car to go and pick up everything we needed for Drew's birthday party. The kids were excited and eventually fell asleep in the car. At that moment, I get a call from my dear husband asking if I was going to take the kids to their dentist appointments. Oops!!! So quickly turned the car around and drove to the dentist knowing this was going to be a terrible visit because there was no time to prep them. We pull in and I wake them up to inform them we are not at the store but Surprise, the dentist. Emma actually did extremely well especially since they had to take her to the other side of the dentist's office so they could do both kids at the same time. Drew was not a happy camper, but he eventually warmed up to the task and got his teeth cleaned. Next time I will actually check my calendar.
