Shuttle and Cory's birthday
We took the kids out of school early on the morning of cory's birthday to watch the final fly over of the Shuttle Endeavor. It was amazing to watch it fly over head even through the wait was so long and hot. It was even more fun to be able to meet Grandpa Hicken,Grammy, and Nathan. Grandpa was excited because this was one of the projects he worked on while he was at Rockwell.
Then later that night, all of Cory's family met at BJ's to celebrate his birthday. We all had a great time laughing and catching up. The best part is the kids are all old enough to sit at their own table and play. So we actually had an adults only table. This picture makes me laugh because Cory came out of his office to go to dinner in his old shorts and shirt. Kristin suggested that he might want to change since everyone was going out for his birthday. Which he did, but his protest was he was going to wear the hawaiian shirt because he knows I don't like it that much.
