Caving in Virginia

While in VA, my sister and I decided to take the kids to a cave so they could look around.
Wow it was nothing I was expecting.

Drew crawled through a tunnel where they said a bear had hibernated the previous year. We saw some amazing rock formations.

It was a long walk though and we did not even do it all. We were in there for 2 hours and by then the kids were getting pooped.

The kids loved it and now Emma keeps asking me when she can do a presentation on it at school. More work for me.

I think we're going in November for a wedding, but something tells me this will all be covered in snow so I'll just enjoy your pictures.

Where is this cave? I loved Caving in VA when I was a kid! Did you ever go in the one on the road between Mallow and AHS? Will and Jay always told me stories of how teens had gone in and fallen into a deep crevice and weren't found until it was too late. I got the shivers every Sunday when we passed it on the highway. I was so stinkin' gullible.
