(little long, sorry)
1. We have had a week to go into the books. We had so much fun spending time with my family in Virginia. We had a great time and the kids loved being with their grandparents. They got totally spoiled and we are now trying to get them to act like normal. We did so many fun things like the Safari park where the camals surrounded the car so we couldn't move and 5 heads were trying to get in to look for some food as we were trying to frantically roll the windows up. It was so funny we were belly laughing for the next 10 minutes.
2. We came home to the news that we lost a friend this week. It was so tragic and out of the blue that it was a shock. This has provided us a lot of time for contemplation over our lives. Sad that it takes something like this to get you to take stock of your priorities.
3. We got back Emma's test results. She has been diagnosed with moderate sleep apena. The doctor has made it perfectly clear that this needs to be taken care of immediately. Instead of breathing deeply while in rem sleep, she takes short shallow breaths and pauses. So it looks as if we will be having her tonsilectomy and adnoidectomy this summer. She also has rare moments of discharges. Which I guess means that she has a strong tendency to have seizures. I laughed when the dr. said this. I told him no duh she has already had 2 seizures so this was not news to me. We will find out more once we speak with him again.
4. We went to dinner with some friends without kids. Wonderful!! I love sushi!
5. Yesterday was father's day. It was so fun to celebrate. We made breakfast in bed but as I got to the top of the stairs to give it to Cory I spilled the juice all over myself. So I got to do it again. After church, we had a great dinner then played outside and had some yummy strawberry pie. (of course, I only ate the crust because I do not like strawberries.)
6. Drew went poo on the potty for the first time. Hooray!!!!!!!
Cory is such a great dad. Many times the kids want him over me. I used to be upset over this but I love to watch them have fun together.
I will put pictures of our trip on tomorrow.

Wow. It sounds like you have been so busy. Good to know what is wrong with Emma though. For sure. Glad it is something that can be taken care of.
Sounds like a fun trip! I had no idea Emma was having these issues. I'm sorry!!! I'm glad to know they figured out what it is and can take the necessary steps to help her!!
I am anxious to talk to you and get mire details on the trip and Emma. Call you tomorrow!
I am so glad they know what is wrong with Emma and how to help her!
I'm so glad you had a fun vacation, and I'm so glad to hear a diagnosis for Emma. Having her tonsils out is way better than constantly worrying about seizures.
Way to go Drew!
