Family Party

This last week we had a big Hicken family birthday party to celebrate everyone's birthday in February. We had so many people here and I think everyone had a great time. We surprised Grammy by giving her a present of flying her sister Donna Mae down to surprise. After many had gotten dinner and sat, we snuck Donna Mae into the house and put her in a very tall box that Grammy had to open. When she did and saw her sister she screamed and I knew she would and cried. She was so excited. I made these fun cakes for the partiers. Grammy loved it because her mother used to make the exact cakes for them with the same icing and I had no idea when I planned it. It was a wonderful time.
