Yesterday we spent the day at Primary Children's getting Emma's tonsils and adnoids removed. Oh the fun. Emma screamed as they took her back and then resumed once she woke up. Cory said when he walked through the door he could hear a child screaming that she wanted to go home. immediately recognizing the voice he goes running over to find her on all fours roaring like a lion at several nurses trying to comfort her. THen when I walked in she kept asking how she got out of here. I told her she needed to drink a slurpee and apple juice. It took her 5 minutes to drink it all. THe nurse had a hard time getting all of the discharge papers done to suit Emma. When we got home she was acting like there was nothing wrong. But today, I can totally tell she is sore.
Good news is with the amount of tissue the ENT took out hopefully here sleep apnea will be all gone.

OMG- NO fun at all! I am sorry!
Hmm...roaring like a lion. LOL So glad I'm not a nurse! Hopefully this will solve all the problems and Emma won't need to go back.
Jeremy always came out of surgery totally ticked off and with super human strength. I feel for you. Glad she was able to get back home. I hope all goes well with the recovery and getting rid of the apnea!
I sure hope things start going better for both you and Emma!
Good Luck with the recovery it totally sucks! Your kids seem to bounce back faster than mine so I'm sure you'll be back to normal here soon!
That totally sounds like when Michael came out of surgery. He drank the slurpee so fast he got a brain freeze! Hope Emma is feeling better now.
Is Emma sleeping better now that it's been a few days? Hope this really makes a difference for her.
